BMYC Cruising : Tilting at windmills! Saturday 15th March

Our first rally of the year will be a day trip to the north eastern edge of Rampion wind farm and back to the club for a social afterwards!

This is a super shakedown sail (or motor!!), a chance for us to get out on the water and then to get together in the club after a long winter!

12:00 (est) Mark2 - North east corner of Rampion wind farm 50.42.715N 0.12.383W

14:00 (est) Race mark 1 50.48.076N 0.6.439W

14:30 (est) Return to Brighton Marina

15:00 Meet at BMYC for social (Rugby showing in the club afterwards!)

Social at the club after the rally! :

We will meet up in the club after do remember there is rugby on so you may want to book a table in advance.

Comfort

Best bring your lunch and warm drinks ! Also, it will probably still be chilly so best dress warm with plenty of layers!

Communications

Please use VHF 72 and BMYC WhatsApp group "Cruising Chat" for communications during the event.

Emergency

In case of emergency please follow normal protocols with recourse to VHF 16 Coastguard or telephone 999 for emergency services.
