BMYC Cruising : Cuckmere Haven Daytrip - 3rd August
A lovely day sail down to cuckmere haven, weather permitting we can anchor off cuckmere haven OR we can practice hove to for a lunch stop.
A good chance for swimming or paddleboarding !
After lunch we will head back to Brighton for a casual social in the club
Agenda :
- Saturday 03/08
- 10:00 Depart Brighton Marina
- 11:00 Depart Brighton (Motor) or depart Newhaven
- 12:00 Hove too / anchor off of cuckmere haven
- 13:00 Weigh Anchor / Depart
- 15:00 return to Brighton
- 16:00 Social at BMYC
- Hi tide 11:38 lo 17:37
CONTINGENCY : If the weather is not suitable, we could have a tour of each others boats - if you are comfortable.
COMMUNICATIONS : Please use VHF 72 and BMYC Cruising Watsapp for communications during the event. (In case of emergency please forllow normal protocols with recource to VHF 16 Coastguard or telephone 999 for emergency services. )
